Before payment
FormatFlow Studio is currently sold by written quote and invoice. The legal seller name, address, country, taxes, price, currency, license duration and payment instructions are stated on the quote or invoice before payment.
1. The product
FormatFlow Studio is local-first Windows software for translating and reviewing supported document formats. It is beta software and may contain defects, incomplete features or compatibility limits. Product capabilities and known limits are described on the website and in the app.
2. Trial and purchase
The public download includes a two-day trial. A purchase is formed only when you accept the written quote or invoice and payment is received. No website button by itself creates a paid order.
3. License
After payment, the seller grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FormatFlow Studio for the users, devices, organization and period stated in the quote or invoice. You may make reasonable backup copies of the installer and license for your own use. You may not resell, share publicly, sublicense, reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use one license for more users than purchased.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Keep activation keys and provider API keys confidential.
- Use supported, lawfully obtained documents and have permission to process their content.
- Review translated output before relying on or delivering it.
- Maintain backups of source and output files.
- Comply with the terms and charges of any AI provider you connect.
5. AI providers and document processing
FormatFlow Studio processes document files locally. When you choose a cloud AI provider, selected document text and the translation context you supply are sent directly from your machine to that provider under your API key. Provider fees are not included unless the quote expressly says otherwise. Provider availability, output and data practices are outside FormatFlow's control.
6. Beta support
Reasonable email support is included during the paid beta unless the quote states different support terms. FormatFlow has no universal master key or hidden remote login. A customer may choose to activate a signed, case-specific support code that expires automatically within 72 hours; the code itself does not transmit files or grant remote control.
7. Updates and compatibility
The paid beta may receive fixes and updates during its stated license period. Unless the quote expressly promises otherwise, compatibility with every Office file, PDF, AI model, operating-system version or third-party service is not guaranteed.
8. Refunds and legal rights
The Refund Policy applies. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided as a beta and the customer remains responsible for reviewing output and maintaining backups. FormatFlow is not responsible for provider charges, decisions made from unreviewed machine output, or indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the purchase was made. Any liability cap or business-specific term will be stated in the accepted quote or invoice and applies only where lawful.
10. Ending the license
You may stop using the software at any time. The seller may end a license for material breach after giving a reasonable opportunity to correct the breach, unless immediate action is reasonably required for fraud, unlawful use or compromised keys. Any refund due is handled under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
11. Changes
Changes apply to future purchases, not retroactively to an already accepted order unless both parties agree or the change is required by law. The terms provided with your quote or invoice are the version that governs that order.
